Over the last 5 weeks I’ve been taking an online workshop in Berlin - hosted by The School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe.
Medical Bodies: Art, Medicine, and the Human Body has been a fantastic way to connect with artists from around the world, and reflect together on the current situation of a viral pandemic, through arts practice. Here I’ll share a few works in progress and thoughts and ideas.
∆3 Reading the Human Through Artificial, Augmented and Artistic Intelligence
Due to the current Lockdown I’m developing ∆3 as a series of online exchanges and workshops . More info coming soon. ∆3
At this point in time it seems that we need to look for assistance, not only in reading the Human using multiple intelligences: Artificial, Augmented and Artistic, but also cross-culturally: learning from other systems and societies, in assessing how we manage public health and transmissions of disease.

Together with researchers and PhD candidates at Bristol Robotics Laboratory, we’ve received funding to develop an arts/engineering collaborative network - ∆3 - to explore Artificial and Augmented Intelligence through Artistic Research. A series of workshops will find and explore common areas of interest: thinking about and engaging with how Machine Vision, AI and Neural Networks 'Read the Human'.
